This full-time, fixed-term position as an Urgent Delivery Vehicle Driver at GIB® (Winstone Wallboards) is currently the premier customer-facing transport and dispatch opportunity in Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering plasterboard and building products to customers throughout the region, while dedicating 50% of your time in the bustling Dispatch area. Your duties will include ensuring accurate order fulfillment, safe loading and unloading, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. The compensation is highly competitive, with an expected pay range of $30–$35 per hour, plus superannuation and overtime, translating to a real annual income of $70,000–$90,000 or more with overtime opportunities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays required. Comprehensive training will be provided, along with a uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities
Ensure the secure delivery of products to customer locations through professional service.
Unload and receive goods while maintaining the organization of pallet stock and the yard.
Prepare orders for the next day, including markup and necessary documentation.
Accurately pick orders while minimizing damage through safe manual handling practices.
Load trucks, verify dockets, and coordinate with drivers and customers.
Adhere to site safety protocols and forklift standard operating procedures.
Uphold high standards of housekeeping.

Requirements
Education
No formal qualification needed.
Experience
Experience in delivery driving or dispatch is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Qualifications
A valid and current Class 1 NZ driver’s licence is essential.
An OSH Forklift Certificate is preferred, although training will be provided if necessary.
Candidates must be physically fit to handle manual tasks, including lifting boards.
Availability for occasional Saturdays and urgent deliveries is required.
